My name is Sarah. I started this so that I’d write on a regular basis. But you don’t care about that. For you, I hope this is a place to reflect, laugh, and give thanks for the world we find ourselves in for a little while. Who am I? That’s easier to answer over a beer, but here goes. I’m new to 30. I’m a pastor. I’m married. Both of those enterprises are more fun than I ever could have imagined. I’m from the south, flirted with the midwest and the west coast, but lost my heart to New York. I find myself now in the glorious pacific northwest at Bethany Presbyterian Church. (The opinions I spout here are mine, not necessarily shared by the congregation I serve.) I run–slowly, and cook a lot. I watch a ton of tv and movies. I love to read. I’m a Christian, but still learning what it means to follow Christ. I get really angry about intolerance, but even angrier about stupidity. I love red shoes. My favorite color is yellow, and my favorite food is macaroni and cheese. I try to be grateful.

  1. Hi, Sarah
Found you on Twitter. I help churches in my presbytery, New Castle, use the Web for outreach. You’re doing a great job with this blog! Do you do the sound recording and posting yourself? Part of the challenge here is organizing church members into Web teams. Have you read Mark Stephenson’s <>? Great book to educate and inspire. In May my presbytery commissioned me as an Interfaith Peacemaker. Please have a look at my blog, http://www.interfaithreflections.com.
